Bar Six
Live from New York, it’s Cheeseburger Saturday Night! Tonight’s host is Bar Six, with special guest star Gumby and the ready for prime beef player, Marty Wombacher. Ladies and gentlemen...Bar Six!
This is Gumby, he lives in a cup on top of my refrigerator. He doesn't get out much, so I thought I'd take him out with me on Cheeseburger Saturday Night. You ready Gumby?
Here's Gumby in all his glory out on Sixth Avenue.
And here's tonight's stop, Bar Six. I didn't get much sleep last night, so I thought we'd go here as it's just a couple blocks from where I live.
Let's go in and check it out.
Even though it's early, it's pretty crowded in here.
Here's a seat, let's see if it's taken.
Bill assures me it's free, so I sit down and take a photo of him and Gumby. Way to pimp the blog, Gumby!
Here's Chris the bartender and Gumby. As you can see, Gumby's excited to be out and about!

It's Cheeseburger Saturday Night! Well, it's actually a turkey burger, but it's close enough.
And it's delicious! That's one tasty burger!
And Gumby has an after dinner drink.
Oh, oh, looks like someone had a little too much to drink.
Sheesh, passed out on his back! You can't take this guy anywhere, this is embarrassing. I think it's time to go home.

Review
I have to work today, yeah, on a Sunday. This sucks and I’m running late, so I’m going to slack off and run a review from New York magazine. And now, it’s off to work I go. Sob!

Although the décor at this West Village hangout—yellow walls, red vinyl banquettes, copper-topped café tables and rows of imported bottles of mineral water—indicates an appealing, albeit cookie-cutter French bistro, the menu contains some type-defying items. In addition to the requisite but tasty moules and steak frites, comforting North African dishes—like grilled, veggie-packed couscous, or an aromatic Moroccan chicken pie—dare to mix it up. But if you’re looking to stick to more predictable fare, sink your teeth into an expertly prepared hamburger-generic as it may be, it has acquired a fan club of its own. — Gabriella Gershenson

@Marty : I've been hiding in a bottle of beer! ha ha! I've got some problems with my Job (my boss "I've forgotten"? to declare me?! still waiting my payslip) and I've got problems with taxes, well, when you live below the poverty line in France, you don't have to pay taxes, but looks like the Midget has changed the rules! maybe sarkooky thinks that I'm a fucking ATM Machine??? that if I stick my finger in my ass, some money will appear in my mouth!? like by magic?! so I got sooo pissed off and wrote a letter to the gov. to let them know about the article 25 of the human rights, just in case they forgot again... [chainsaw noise]
@Jaws : oh! my dossier is a very small small small one!!!! French Journalists got a dossier as thick as the world phonebook, but again this morning I read that 20 Journalist's computers I've been stolen! again! They were working on Sarkooky's corruption and were getting enough proof about how he got illegally elected... wooooow soooo odd ! [chainsaw noise in need for oil]
I will try to come more often to comment, but as I've got a very negative mind, I don't want to carry negative energies in here. This website must keep positive energies and I can't bring any positive sharing with my state of mind. But I will try ;)

I love it when Gumby joins the crawl. Restaurant, bar, bowling alley...Gumby don't care...he's flexible! HA HA HA! I still gots it! Anyhoo, Bar Six looks nice. I like the copper bartops and seems like it draws a friendly crowd. I'm not a big fan of turkey burgers, but tis the season, I guess. Gobble, gobble Gumby! And happy birthday, Fitzy!

Clacky, I wish I lived close to NY! Over in Utah. As much as I love cheeseburgers, I might have to take your word on the mac and cheese burger. Doesn't exactly sound appetizing :)
