Friday, April 16th, 2010—Bar 96

Day 96—Thursday, April 15th
The Outside Beer Bar at Grand Central Station

I really want to thank Dave who emailed me and suggested I go to the Beer Bar Garden outside of Grand Central Station. He paid for the drinks, we had a nice conversation, but I’m late for my plane to go to Cleveland to meet Michael Heaton, The Minister Of Culture. So here’s the photos! Sorry about the quickity-blickity blog today, but there will be two big ones coming up from Cleveland! Check back tomorrow and the next day!

Jesus, it's packed in here!

It's like an after-work slice of hell!

Open table!

Here's a picture of my feet as I wait for Dave.
Dave shows up, but it turns out he wants his picture obscured. I think he's wanted by the law, but I'll never tell!

Dave and I at our table.

Photo by Dave, this place is packed! I said that already, I gotta get to Cleveland.

Here's video of the joint. Goodnight everybody!

Review
Doing this website has been a magical experience. Dave lives about three blocks from me and he and his friends follow the website where they work. Dave you are welcome to join me anytime along the crawl, thanks for meeting me, this place was great, they have booze and food, now I have to catch a plane to Cleveland. HELLO CLEVELAND!

Beer Bar Garden
Vanerbuilt and 45th St.
I don’t know the phone number and I have to catch a plane, call 411.

HELLO CLEVELAND! GO BROWNS!!

This place looks awful......ly packed. Although now that you can't drink in the subways anymore (thanks for nothing, Giuliani you fucker!), I'll bet it's a nice booze break for all those commuters.

Side note: Next time any of yous are traveling through Grand Central and have a little time (and a lot of money) to spare, you should check out the Campbell Apartment. Not the best bar in the world, but a little slice of New York history that's worth checking out.

All in Favor? Opposed?

Just think your first 95 nights were a 'Warm-Up'

Nope. You're intact.
The fucking insanity of the place and crowd would have been enough penance anyhow.
Plus the name BEER BAR says it all.
Nicest thing about it IS the sign.
See you in Chitown Daddio.

WOW!!! At least, planes fly there !! hahaha
All airport closed in France!! and europe! haha But I got the solution : I'm sure with a "H1N1 protection mask" planes can go through the volcan's dust without to cough !!
